Babies need exercise too

160320487• At birth, your baby’s head is soft and still growing. To prevent a flat spot occurring on their head, it is advisable to change your baby’s position.
• When sleeping, place your baby on his or her back, but alternate the ends of the cot so baby will turn their head in both directions.
• When your baby is awake, place baby on his or her stomach so they can develop motor skills, such as rolling, sitting and crawling.
• Ensure your baby does not stay in one position for too long, such as sitting in a car seat, carrier or infant swing.
